csgo takes +- 20 seconds to start up

since yesterday i upgraded to windows 11. everything was fine and worked good. then i started up csgo, noticed it took so long to start up. like 20 seconds what was in win10 only like 2/3 seconds. i tryed to reinstal csgo. steam or even today did a clean reinstal of windows11. the problem did not go away...

it not a hardware problem.. it is a software problem ( win 11) every games runs perfect exept csgo wel if it runs it runs good. but its soooo slow... pleas help me out. i have tryed everything...

    I tested again and I can confirm that the CS GO starts faster with -insecure flag on Win 11 22H2.

    TPM is enabled, do you have better results with TPM disabled?

    Interesting, sounds like VAC could be causing this strange startup delay to occur then.

    Note to anyone who wants to try that launch parameter - it disables VAC, which means you won't be able to play on official servers, and 99,9% of community servers as well.

    PS: There is one thing that wasn't mentioned in this thread at all, about which I'm slightly suspicious - how's your TPM, do you have it enabled or disabled? I personally keep mine disabled until a BIOS update fixes system freezes caused by it.

    As someone else facing an extremely long CSGO launch time on Windows 11, I can confirm that adding the -insecure launch option makes it start up INSTANTLY.
