I really don't get what's the benefit of this features.
Accidentally doing stuff by the owner might cause of unintentionally shutdown or did not login successfully.
Example:
- Like my experience I just wanted to access the bios and restarting it because I mistakenly press the wrong function key (F11 which shoulr be F10).
After I finished to setup. Boot it up. And viola! 2hrs is needed for me to use my laptop.
- There are more than 5,000 reason (report says they have the same problem) that I say this feature should be fix my Microsoft. There many unitentionally power off and on a computer. Based on how many people have the same problem.
We need explanation from Microsoft why they put this features. 2hrs is very long to wait. Which Microsoft are preventing us from using our own device. If this is security reason, on what cause? I mean if someone a hacker and should this issue already and already knows how to bypass this. But for us user who just wanted to use our own device this will be a frustrating issue and annoying everytime. I think this should be fixed and call it another features gone and thrown outside the Windows.
Kindly imagine an example scenario.
You need your files inside the laptop for your work. Then this happens you need to waste your 2hrs waiting for it to boot it up.
Your laptop have the software your using for your work (let's say it's license) this happens. Now you wait again.
Your battery is dead on your laptop and you haven't replace it yet. You arrive at your work then you are the presenter or you are gonna teach in the classroom. You know what happened next. Yes it time for you to wait 2hrs.
I can't imagine that this report is a year old and still Microsoft aren't fixing this issue. Aren't you guys using your own product? You haven't got any problem related with this issue?
Is there anyway to disable this feature?
Microsoft?
