My new Dell XPS13 is running windows 11 and my original scanner hardware worked Ok once installed from the provided CD, but I noticed that both the preview and scan icons are not visible, but become visible and function properly, once I click in the space where I know they are hidden in the menu. Should I still try to install the new software that Carlo TJ has suggested?
Scanner won't run on Windows 11
I have an Epson Perfection V600 Photo scanner that I can't get to run on Windows 11. I did an install with the disk that came with the scanner, then downloaded the latest driver update from Epson, but when I try to run it, I get a message saying "Can't communicate with scanner." Any help would be greatly appreciated, as I really need to use this scanner.

2022-05-19T22:34:28+00:00 Don’t know enough to respond to your question. What’s working for me now is to turn on the scanner before I even turn on the computer.
If computer is already on:
Turn on scanner
Reboot computer
I guess it’s different strokes for different folks.

I tried it both ways, and both ways got the job done.
I'm eternally grateful!
