I have an Epson Perfection V600 Photo scanner that I can't get to run on Windows 11. I did an install with the disk that came with the scanner, then downloaded the latest driver update from Epson, but when I try to run it, I get a message saying "Can't communicate with scanner." Any help would be greatly appreciated, as I really need to use this scanner.

I also have stopped having Epson scanner issues for the last year. I have had other glitchy issues however that they seem to fix. Overall, as a strong Windows supporter I honestly feel that Win 11 was released before it was ready, and I still feel that it is glitchy. We stopped converting half of our computers to Win 11 for now. I also really hate the new Win 11 start; it is as bad as the Win 8 one.
I am confident that Win 12 will be better (I hope).
Wish I had written it down, but every update since has no problems with Epson scanners. I accept the Microsoft Windows 11 updates every month, so any recent update should do the trick.
Can you advise what Microsoft update to Windows 11 finally fixed the problem?

Have you tried powering up the scanner before you run the Epson Scan software. That worked for me.

When I first posted the Epson Scanner problem not working with Windows 11 in 2021, my V500, V600, and V700 scanners would not work normally without unplugging and plugging in the USB connectors into different ports. Reloading the Epson Scan program many times did not help. What finally fixed the problem was a Microsoft update to the Windows 11 that I am guessing was released a little over a year ago. This fixed all Epson scanner problems once and for all. I also use two Epson scanners on Windows 10 equipment and have no problems there.
