Scanner won't run on Windows 11

I have an Epson Perfection V600 Photo scanner that I can't get to run on Windows 11. I did an install with the disk that came with the scanner, then downloaded the latest driver update from Epson, but when I try to run it, I get a message saying "Can't communicate with scanner." Any help would be greatly appreciated, as I really need to use this scanner.

Thanks for the feedback. Scanners OK pre~win11. Hopefully, a future update will cure what ever the glitch is.

Don’t know enough to respond to your question. What’s working for me now is to turn on the scanner before I even turn on the computer.

    If computer is already on:

    Turn on scanner

    Reboot computer

I guess it’s different strokes for different folks.

    This method works me.

    Worked for me, M!!

I tried it both ways, and both ways got the job done.

    I'm eternally grateful!
