Scanner won't run on Windows 11

I have an Epson Perfection V600 Photo scanner that I can't get to run on Windows 11. I did an install with the disk that came with the scanner, then downloaded the latest driver update from Epson, but when I try to run it, I get a message saying "Can't communicate with scanner." Any help would be greatly appreciated, as I really need to use this scanner.

    It’s been a while so can’t offer (remember) specifics. Suggest you look at past comments and try the recommended revisions.

    Right now (holding my breath) no problem with scanner operation or behavior. It comes up differently, depending on whether or not it was on when turning on the computer, not a problem.

    I have a Brother MFC 9325 CW that won't scan. I had to get a third party app to use the scanner. It worked fine under Windows 10. I've gone through the entire process provided by brother. I had to bring in an expert to show me how to use another app on my desktop. I find it disturbing that Microsoft provides no solution.

    I am also having problems using an Epson ES-300W portable scanner. Just purchased laptops for staff and they came pre-loaded with Windows 11. We have tried both Epson Scan 2 and Windows Scan and neither work properly. I do not want to replace 20 scanners. Do you have a Windows 11 Driver available for Epson ES-300W?

    I disagree that Win 7 was bad BUT, I agree that Win 11 has far too much crapola added and it is very glitchy. So many things that I use sometime no longer work or do not load.

    Really just put this up to complain. Windows 11 is the worst program MS has developed since Windows 7. It was installed on my laptop without my permission. The interface is horrible, and every function that Windows 10 had either no longer works, or you have to really research the internet on how to make it work. As far as I am concerned MS owes me a new laptop. The lead programmer and all those involved with giving the go ahead for MS 11 should be fired.
