Scanner won't run on Windows 11

I have an Epson Perfection V600 Photo scanner that I can't get to run on Windows 11. I did an install with the disk that came with the scanner, then downloaded the latest driver update from Epson, but when I try to run it, I get a message saying "Can't communicate with scanner." Any help would be greatly appreciated, as I really need to use this scanner.

I am glad to hear the elderly v200 is alive and well.

To download new drivers, go to Control Panel>Device Manager > Imaging Devices, Right-click on your scanner, Update Driver.

See if that will allow you to update the drivers for your scanner.

When I right click on the scanner icon I don't see anywhere where there is the option to "uninstall" the driver. I can download the new driver to the computer but can't find any process to uninstall and select the new driver in the process. I'm using Windows 11, which seems to be the problem in any event. Suggestions?

I did the same with the same results. Great to get my tabs visible again.
