Random Mouse Stutter/Lag Windows 11

Hi

So im having a issue with my mouse cursor lagging/stuttering for a few seconds randomly does not happen a lot but it does happen and only lasts for a few seconds so far not been watching a video ir playing a game when it happens so cant see if other tasks continue as normal when it happens

Updated graphics card drivers and checked windows update & it says no updates available.

I have the following hardware on my PC

CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 5700G with Radeon Graphics

Graphics Card: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 TI

Motherboard:

Base board manufacturer: HP

Baseboard Product 8876

Baseboard Version 11

BIOS Version/Date: AMI F,11, 27/08/2021

Is anyone else getting this issues when i first got the PC over a month ago there were no issues its the last week or so this has started happening

    Had same drama, mouse was the issue, dirty optic lens for scroll wheel, opened it & cleaned & reassembled, mouse scroll fixed.

    I started having a problem with my mouse pointer than was moving randomly/juddering from bootup, not having changed/installed any software that I was aware of. "Checking for updates" temporarily solved the problem, it was not necessary to install any updates, just check for them.

    I have a Logitech keyboard and Microsoft wireless mouse, I found that when I removed the Logitech applications from my start-up list the problem was resolved and has not had an adverse affect on my keyboard and thus far not returned. Maybe a quicker solution than the Clean boot process suggested if you have Logitech kit. I should have noted the software that I removed but didn't unfortunately but it is identified as originating from Logitech.

    I have multiple users on one PC and have the same mouse lag on all users except the admin user. If I change the normal user to an administrator user, the problem goes away.

    Hopefully someone can come up with a fix, so I don't have to make all users an administrator. :-(

    Thanks for posting a reply. After many Google searches and trying different settings on my computer, I'm sad to say I still have the problem. I have no idea why, but the problem disappears for weeks on end only to pop back up for several days again. I have found that I can sometimes temporarily end the mouse jitters by rebooting the computer, however that does not always work.

    What is odd is that it's only a problem on my desktop (Lenovo) and does not appear on my laptop (also a Lenovo). So, at this point, I'm forced to live with it and cross my fingers that a future Windows Update will help.
