How do I turn off PIN login on Windows 11?

When I go to the "remove pin", the button is grayed out. I contacted HP tech support & they said that's a software issue. I was able to turn it off in Win 10, but when I rec'd my new laptop that was supposed to have Win 10 installed, it turned out to be Win 11. Anyone have a fix?

2022-06-27T19:30:46+00:00 I understand that, but we should have an option to do the 2 step/pin number/or whatever other means to lock and unlock. I dont use Edge, but, just like all the other browsers, we have an option to save the passwords or not.

2022-07-06T20:18:16+00:00 Same issue - remove PIN is greyed out. This laptop is for my 85 year old almost blind mother who simply wants to play solitaire on the stupid thing. And she won't even be connected to the internet. She cannot see the keyboard in order to enter anything and can only barely see enough to click on the game on a giant screen. This is absolutely ridiculous.
