Hi, I've followed **** this link from the Remove PIN Using ‘I Forgot my PIN’ Option part and it removed the PIN successfully.
How do I turn off PIN login on Windows 11?
When I go to the "remove pin", the button is grayed out. I contacted HP tech support & they said that's a software issue. I was able to turn it off in Win 10, but when I rec'd my new laptop that was supposed to have Win 10 installed, it turned out to be Win 11. Anyone have a fix?

2022-11-09T12:12:49+00:00 Hi mate.
I did it! I found what you said trying a lot of things...
For everyone who haves the same problem, THIS IS THE CORRECT WAY TO FIX IT:
Use Remove PIN Using ‘I Forgot my PIN’ Option, leave in blank the new PIN code and select I will configure it in the future...
Thanks.

Press Win+R. In the popup, type netplwiz. You get a new window, with a checkmark next to "Require a password for login on this machine" or similar. Remove that checkmark, click Apply. Next, you'll be asked for a username (you can choose any, doesn't really matter) for the PC. Leave the password fields blank.
Click Ok, and you're done.
If it works, is another question...
