I'm experiencing the same on a Windows 10 desktop. A key will stick every week or two, and will continue to stick even with all keyboards disconnected. Keyboard troubleshooting and driver updates do not help.

I just bought a brand-new laptop a couple of weeks ago with Windows 11 on it but from day 1 I've been having issues with the keyboard. For example, if I hold down the down arrow button or W key too long sometimes, the window start button activates. If I'm casually typing or scrolling on the web, sometimes either shift, ctrl, windows, or fn key (I haven't been able to verify which ones specifically are the issue but it looks like it's different ones at different times) acts like it's stuck so if I click on something, the computer thinks I'm holding down the shift, windows, etc. key + whatever key I pressed. Sometimes I can't even type anything because of this.
If I lock myself out of my account and then log myself back in, it goes away temporarily so the problem only happens when I'm logged in because the keyboard never does this on the sign in screen. Even if I use an external keyboard or even the on-screen one, it still does the exact same thing so it seems to me it's a software issue and not a hardware one. I've tried updating the keyboard drivers and mouse drivers and uninstalling and reinstalling them. I turned off sticky keys and all that but still nothing. The keyboard troubleshooter has found no issue either. Would appreciate any help with this.

2023-04-09T17:30:37+00:00 I had the same problem, ASUS Gaming Laptop, keys randomly seem stuck, cursor keys and control key in my case.
I tried a BT keyboard with the same issues.
Safe boot - same issue
On a hunch I unplugged the mouse USB Receiver I was using, and the problem is solved!

2023-03-30T12:31:19+00:00 Happened again with the backspace key , had to press redo buttons about 40 times to get my work back.
This is really going to cause some problems if this persists.
(If I am not able to press redo more times and lose my work,,,,, it would be extremely annoyyyyyyyyyying)

Same issue here, progressively getting more frustrating.
Was just doing some work on Canva and backspace got "Stuck" down and deleted all the slides.Incredibly annoying having to spam the Redo button.
No issues from windows 10.
New laptop - been using it for about 3 weeks - ASUS Zephyrus G14 (2022)

2023-03-27T03:12:40+00:00 Same issue (Lenovo Legion Y540-15IRH Laptop) but it's my down arrow key. I even went into the BIOS and manually disabled the key and it still happens, which boggles the mind. How is a key being spam pressed when I cannot activate that key anymore?!
I've had this issue for well over a year and went through the entire internet for a fix. Even went with the nuclear option of doing a factory reset and same issue. So I'm resigned to hitting my Up arrow now and then to stop the endless downward scrolling..
Also Lenovo doesn't give a **** because I'm past the warranty, thanks guys.
