This has been an issue since the beta and dev and the UUP downloads none of the commands fix nore troubble shoot even with in windows Trouble......no matter what update ver's i get nore fetaure pack ...

Install error - 0x80070643

A report on my situation.

1. Windows Security was "missing" on this machine (per my earlier post), but after some searching, it seems this is not unusual with W11, and can be sorted by using PowerShell.
2. I installed Security app package with PowerShell, which then showed up in full, similar to my W10 machine.
3. I then repaired Security app (per other suggestions), which completed OK.
4. I then "unhid" this update, and checked that it no longer appeared in the Hidden list.
5. I then re-ran Win Update.

At that point, I expected to see KB5007651 either failing again, or installing successfully. However, Update didn't show it (re-ran that a couple of times), and it's not in the updates installed lists, so the only other explanation is that it is not available via WU at the moment.

Whether this is because it is being fixed by MS, or has been pulled, isn't clear.

I followed all the instructions, but I am still getting the error of "Install error - 0x80070643." All systems from the commands in the instructions say that they detect no error or violation. Windows Update in settings is still telling me the error and asking me to retry. What should I do next?

Did not work for me, now what?
