Update for Windows Security platform - KB5007651 (Version 1.0.2109.27002)

Simply access the Windows Security app settings (right-click on Windows Security in the Start Menu). Once there, hit "Repair" and "Reset". Then, attempt the Windows update again. Worked for me!

I understand that you are encountering a Windows Security Platform Update error with error code 0x80070643.

You can try running the command prompt as administrator and execute the following command:

(The command prompt can be found by searching for cmd in the search bar.)

sfc /scannow 

Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /ScanHealth 

Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /CheckHealth 

DISM /Online /Cleanup-image /RestoreHealth 

After the command is executed, restart the computer, and then execute the following command again:

sfc /scannow

The same thing happened to laptop windows, i checked my college desktop Update for Windows Security platform - KB5007651 (Version 1.0.2109.27002) notification is not getting.

I tried all the options to install Update for Windows Security platform - KB5007651 (Version 1.0.2109.27002) , but no use , it ended with an installation error, other updates are installing without errors.

At present, hide this particular update. we will wait for next update

With sfc, it said 'Windows Resource Protection could not perform the requested operation'.

It's getting error 1392. The file or directory is corrupted or unreadable. Which is strange. Because just a day or so before. I ran scans on all my drives and all my drives came back as healthy. So, something has gone wrong with the security update files. I was able to do updates which were not security updates. It's just this one file/update.
