Windows 11 Cumulative Update not downloading and installing.

I went thru the process of installing my 2023-02 cumulative update for Windows 11 version 22H2 but it did not install.

To anyone reading this in the future, this worked for me: try pausing the updates for a week and then turning that back off. Simple fix. I checked the update and for some reason Windows was trying to download an update that wasn't for my Laptop (I discovered this by manually trying to download the update from the microsoft software catalog). I think the updater was confused.

For context I ran the sfc scannow just before too.

I agree. I had a problem installing KB5013889. Tried all the usual commands (fsc /scannow, etc.) nothing worked.

Finally called MS Support. They showed me where to download the Windows 11 ISO file. I ran it and everything is good now. It's a simple repair that did not affect my files, settings or apps. My computer is just the same as it was prior to running the repair. Haven't been able to say thank you MS Support for a while but in this case they were right on the money. Thank you MS Support!

Once on the website, click on the second choice "Create Windows Installation Media". Select "Download Now" and follow instructions to create the ISO file (Not USB File). I saved the file to the desktop. Once downloaded, double-click the file, let it run and you'll back to normal again in no time.

I think the best way to solve this problem is by downloading a Windows 11 .ISO and re-install the whole system.
