Hey, i really don't know if this is the right area to talk about this, this may take abit of explanation. I came back to my computer to find that my normal email that is connected to my microsoft account i use to access my windows is not what it is but instead was ru*****@rambler.ru now at that moment i did see the actual email address but i was scared that i got hacked i went straight into my administrator and deleted that user which in reality is the user i use every day to do my school work and everything else, i know this was a stupid decision and i hate myself for it but i did made a system restore before i did that and got my user account back but because my windows account was connected to my microsoft account and because they have changed the email to whatever it is ru*****@rambler.ru i cannot do anything, i have looked at the fourms but they need the acutal full email to even begin to recover if its possible. Im sorry if my grammer or how i sentenced things was bad, not the best at english but please is there any way to retrieve my account back?

This is really scary that this many people have got this problem. I also think that there is more people that havent reached this thred. So how do we solve this issue, because it seems like MS will not help. Have had my account or i mean "my old acc" for over 12 years. So i have spent alot of hours and money on this MS account. Everything is tied to your email in the end. And if thats get stolen your fu**ed. I Can still search on my DP-name on like xbox and find my name with all my progress. I still have another acc with the exact same mail and everything. It just seems like they have swopped the email and took the account. Sorry for bad english (not my main, and im really mad and upset)

Eeeh. What!!? Ok so i have a account for 12 years. Everything we do now a days in our Lifes are connected to them. I have spent alot of money on things the account is connected with. And now they let us get hacked and not just that. The account is still up just a email change. And they cant still not give it back even tho they see that what information we give matches our accounts xD. I mean now its just ridiculous.

Hello, I’m Virginia, I have 20 years of expertise in fixing my own & friends’ PC problems.

Sorry to hear you’re experiencing problems.

As we don’t have access to account details I would recommend following the instructions here:

    https://support.microsoft.com/account-billing/h...

    https://support.microsoft.com/en-gb/account-bil...

If none of the above work then you’ll require the account recovery form:
