Windows Recovery: error code: 0xc0000225

I got this error after i updated my windows, i already run a Bootable device Troubleshoot and do “RebuildBCD” But it says total windows installations: 0 And when i tried to run a “FixBoot” it says “Acces is denied” i would appreciate if anyone can tell me where did it go wrong

    Right, a reset should offer to keep files. You will have to reinstall any 3rd-party apps that use them, though. I'm pretty sure your extra partitions (D: & E:) will be kept intact. Did you see my post where I asked to see the contents of those partitions? Enter those commands at a Command Prompt.

    And you should find & test your BIOS Boot Menu F-Key which for an ASUS laptop is either Esc or F8. And the respective BIOS Setup keys are F9 or Del. That is going by the site I posted earlier.

    You may try to use some Linux live CD with HDD test capability.

    But seems it will be better to check a laptop in ASUS service center.

    Home or Professional?

    The results for the directories were not seen.

    i dont know if i can do that because im using a laptop and taking the HDD from my laptop doesnt sounds like a simple thing to do, if there is any other way to check it without taking it out im may able to do that but if there is no other way looks like i have to bring it to a professional to check the HDD

    Yes, unfortunately this may mean problems with a drive. Can you connect this hard drive to another PC as secondary and check its health with third party CrystalDiskInfo tool?
