Missing "App & Browser Control" in Windows Security in Windows 11 OS Build 22621.1

Hi,

I am using the latest version of Windows 11 and I have found it out that the App & Browser Control is missing in the Windows Security. Although it is shown in settings but in the app its completely missing after the update. When I clicked it there is no response for it. Kindly check it in your system too and help me out. I am on my Windows 11 Beta version.

    Thank you so much. This solution worked. I needed to use an unlock application to get through the security pemissions (even changing the owner and the audit protocol did not work), but everything is back in order now.

    This should be adressed in an official way nonetheless, as it seems to be a serious security issue.

    There is nothing corrupted. Look in other Forums as well. There are many User Reports with this Issue.

    As you say, when i go over settings and than security ->> App and Browser Control is there.

    The Dashboard is broken when you click on the systray Icon. There is no App Browsercontrol.

    There is a fix/workaround found for this. What is causing the issue is a leftover defender folder:

    C:\Windows\System32\SecurityHealth\1.0.210927002-0

    I deleted this folder from the recovery command prompt from my 22000 windows 11 and was able to update to the latest beta and retain "App and Browser Control". I am on 22622.436 now.

    In that thread one person said it worked for them deleting it from the beta, but that did not work for another. It definitely works deleting it in 22000.xxx prior to updating to the 22622 beta (or release preview)

    Anyhow that is the source of the issue and a fix.
