Hi,

I am using the latest version of Windows 11 and I have found it out that the App & Browser Control is missing in the Windows Security. Although it is shown in settings but in the app its completely missing after the update. When I clicked it there is no response for it. Kindly check it in your system too and help me out. I am on my Windows 11 Beta version.

Are you reading the complete Thread??? Some Users posted a Solution here and in Feedback HUB from Microsoft the Problem is on the known Issues list.

    The Solution is here:

App & Browser control section is completely missing from windows security center | Page 2 | Windows 11 Forum (elevenforum.com)

As i wrote, you put 2 different Issues into one Problem.

In this Thread we are talking about the missing App and Browser Control. This Setting is not there on the Security Dashboard but you can reach it over the Windows Search, or the Settings App.

"redtailed "postet a Solution some Posts back.

This is a Bug with not deleted Installation Folders, that must be fixed from Microsoft itself.

That you can´t change your Exploit Protection Settings is a complete other Story.

And my Exploit Protection settings are "managed by your administrator." I have none. This cannot be changed. It is definitely malware. Please see

All these fixes do not help because this is the work of malware.

    The malware is named VIRTOOL:Win32\DefenderTamperingRestore

    and

    RemoteAdmin:Win32\ConnectScreen

These malwares directly attack Windows Defender and its services
