For those who don't want to play with powershell, admin privileges etc etc.

Simply open Microsoft Store, click My Library (bottom left), click Get Updates (top right). That's it.

    Same:

    Phone Link 1.22052.136.0

    Win11

    Says I'm up-to-date.

    NOT WORKING!

I had the same problem here. I then completely removed Phone Link using Powershell and reinstalled from the Microsoft Store. That got me the latest version, and it did indeed fix the problem with links being unclickable.

How were you able to get this release version? Along with others, I'm on 1.22052.336.0 and it says I'm on the most recent version when I try and update. I've tried searching for 1.22052.553.0 and nothing comes up.

I migrated to Google Messages a few weeks ago and essentially wrote off the MS Phone Link app. After seeing a response in this forum a few days ago saying the latest upgrade is working, I upgraded through through the app as I outlined earlier. Voila! It worked for me.

They may be rolling out the update in batches. WTHKs.

When in the app's about section (Phone Link / Settings / About) there's the check for updates button that states have the latest app as version 1.22052.136.0, and I'm in the Windows 11 Home environment. MS Store doesn't state what their latest version is, so I don't see how you have a version ending in .553.0 I just looked at Windows Update and saw "Cumulative Update for Windows 11 for x64-based Systems (KB5015882)" and I downloaded that, and maybe that will allow Phone Link to update beyond .136

I'll provide an update in a few minutes.
