Microsoft Ergonomic Keyboard stops working randomly (but not the mouse nor number pad)

I have a Microsoft Sculpt ergonomic wireless keyboard for a few months now. I run Windows 11. I did the last update on my computer yesterday and since then the keyboard randomly stops working. I tried using the solutions on this thread https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/windows_10-hardware/microsoft-sculpt-wireless-keyboard-intermittent/576defc3-634a-4a6a-9793-230dcc447f77 from 2018, but nothing works. It's the same issue : I have to remove the batteries, wait a bit, put them back in and the keyboard works again. When the keyboard doesn't work, the number pad still does as does the mouse. It's my work computer so I don't have all the access for the Command Thing. Right now as I'm typing, the keyboard is randomly activating and de-activating some shortcuts despite me not touching anything but the keys to write.

What do I do ? I've done all the updates, I've run the Hardware & Devices updates/troubleshooting and nothing is helping.

Infos about the computer :

Acer Spin 513-52N, Edition Windows 11 Home, version 21H2, OS build 22000.613 64bits (I'm not sure which infos you need).

    True but the problem seems isolated to some specific laptops. It worked well on my wife's Lenovo Thinkpad and on my old surface pro5. It was on my surface pro 8 that the problem was happening intermittently byt frequently that it became a nuisance. What surprised me was Microsoft offered to replace my new Surface Pro 8 under the warranty program but chose not to replace the keyboard! I refused the offer since I would have to trade my brand new surface pro for a refurbished unit. Instead I invested in a new logitech set and have been extremely happy with both laptop and keyboard/mouse since then!

    This was the issue for me too, I think it was the F11 key.
    I also noticed that with a text editor open, if I removed the battery and plugged it back in, the keyboard started printing current date by itself!

    Really weird

    Where do I find this option in device settings? I'm having the same problem - mouse and calculator working, keyboard not working except for about 2 seconds if I change the batteries. I can't find anything re turning off under bluetooth or device manager, keyboard and it's driving me crazy - keyboard is only 6 months old.

    I tried the F key suggestion and it didn't fix anything. I have a feeling it's an issue with the keyboard itself now that it's happened to me twice. I do know they don't like being around other Bluetooth devices. But with the mouse and keypad working and not the keyboard, if it's not a stuck key, it HAS to be the whole device. I sent in a help ticket and said I wanted an exchange but they won't because I no longer have the original receipt because this was a replacement of the original. A lot of money for a paperweight.

    Thanks for responding, Chris. It does seem like it might be a design flaw - I believe they are going to send me a replacement, but then if I have the same problem again it sounds like I'll also have a rather ungainly paper weight instead of an ergonomic keyboard as well...
