Memory Integrity cannot be turned ON

In Windows security I got a massage that memory integrity in windows security is off. But I can't turn it on. Every time I try to turn it on but i get a massage that it can't turn on. Please help me to resolve my problem.

Hi,

Here is what typically works for most of the users who know the driver name as it is mentioned in Windows Security. Apparently, Microsoft changed/updated the incompatible driver list recently, which has ended up this issue for most of the users.

Method 1:

You can get the list of drivers by running this command in the elevated command prompt:

dism /online /get-drivers /format:table

After that, Make note of the Published Name (ex: "oem13.inf") of the driver that is shown as problematic.

Then use the pnputil command to delete the driver from the device:

pnputil /delete-driver <Published Name> /uninstall /force​

Please note that running this command would remove the device driver and the next time you use the device, it would not work. Reinstalling the driver might help.

Method 2:

Another alternative is using Autoruns to delete the driver. Download it from here:

https://live.sysinternals.com/autoruns.exe

Run it as administrator.

Go to the Driver tab, locate the driver and delete the same.

    OK done and done and what a surprise

    WHEN U CLICK REVIEW NOTHING SHOWS UP - NO DRIVERS LISTED

    so how the frog do u fix a incompatable ... that is not listing itself as incompatable out of several billion drivers on a machine im just ment to guess at which one i might be deleting

    I have scanned for incompatible drivers and have a clean scan.

    So how do I enable Memory Integrity??

    For Windows 11

    Check what drivers are conflicting in core isolation, you should get a link with conflicting drivers after a scan.

    Beneath each driver should be oem followed by a number

    Search for CMD and open it as Admin

    Type in or select and paste this into your CMD window, replace <number>

    pnputil.exe –f –d oem<number>.inf

    For example C:\Windows\System32>pnputil.exe –f –d oem10.inf.

    Hit Enter and the driver should be successfully deleted.

    This will force delete the driver and allow you to get memory integrity running.

    Hello,

    I have 3 drivers that need to be deleted:

    1. ftdibus.sys FTDI
    2. RDWM1178.SYS Roland
    3. ftdibus.sys FTDI Ltd.

    What is the function of those drivers and is it safe to delete them with method 1?
