WIFI 6 (Mediatek MT7921) disconnects randomly

I tried doing that, but when I uninstall the device, the device completely disappears from the device manager. Is there some way to install the new drivers without selecting that device itself?

Edit: On further inspection, the device disappears from the network adapters menu into "other devices", and I have installed the downloaded driver now. After the automatic reinstall I mentioned before, the device manager said it was using this one at first, but then after another restart without removing the driver it changed to another version I'd tried which was causing BSODs. Hopefully this will work now.

Based on my experience and the solution which has worked for many people, it seems that this issue is brought upon either by a driver provided through the manufacturer or through windows update. There are several people who have provided links to a driver provided by lenovo which seems to work for other computers such as Asus and HP which seem to have this problem. I would download that. Then go to device manager, locate the network device, and uninstall it completely removing the old driver. Do not restart. Instead, right click the device again and proceed to install the new driver that we have described. Do not automatically search for it. The one that Windows thinks is best seems to be faulty. Instead you will need to manually locate the one that we recommend from Lenovo. After this it should begin working with no restart needed. I hope it works for you.

Restarted the PC to auto-install and get the device back to try again, and the auto-installer had installed this new driver. So far, not impressed. Pretty much the same issues as before. The device breaking randomly and forcing me to restart, sometimes multiple times before it actually behaves. Is it possible that the other drivers still stored on the PC might be interfering somehow? Since there is an option to delete all the driver info when uninstalling the device. The closest thing I've gotten to a fix so far was something this one video recommended involving going through the command module and wiping something or other clean (not any files as far as I understand, just something in the deeper hardware that was getting clogged up). I can't seem to find that video again though.

hi, in several posts in this thread I and others have detailed how to install the driver that we have recommended. The auto-installer will simply revert back to the same broken drivers provided by the manufacturer (which appears to be the problem). I would recommend reading some of the previous posts that detail the process and do that. Go to device manager. Locate the device. Uninstall it and remove the driver. Do not restart. Use the device manager to reinstall the device and manually select the driver that has been recommended by several people on this page (specifically one from Lenovo). Once it is installed it should begin working again, provided it is the same problem and same device that has been the discussion of this thread.

I am having the same problem. But my pc does have an update remaining to be performed but i still need wifi to download the update. But thats the whole problem that my pc isn't being connected to wifi. Now what do i do?
