WIFI 6 (Mediatek MT7921) disconnects randomly

Hi, I know that RPanch407 had mentioned router and maybe that was his issue. Many of us have found it to be a driver issue. My issue was also with a brand new HP laptop. I had the same issue in 3 different locations, one of which had a brand new router... so that definitely was not the issue for me. If you have not tried the driver that was recommended in previous posts (I uploaded a link), then that would definitely be worth a shot and can be done in like 5 minutes. I do know that this network device does use some type of new technology and it is highly possible that it is somehow a computer/router communication problem.... Either way, the driver fixed it for many so it's worth a shot! Either way, please post your experience as it can help others find what works for them.

Wow! This is almost as good as the novel I'm currently reading! I just stumbled on this thread after googling "problem MediaTek MT7921 Wi-Fi 6 802.11ax PCIe Adapter" after having lost my wi-fi connection for the umpteenth time. This "phenomenon" began on a brand new, recently purchased HP laptop. Luckily, I have figured out how to reconnect, but now I'm annoyed that I have to keep reconnecting it. After all, it's a brand new laptop. Anyhow, I found it VERY interesting that you narrowed your problem to the router. Now, I'm not as computer savvy as others who have posted and I haven't noticed my Galaxy S20 losing wi-fi, but it's quite interesting what has been tried to solve this seemingly common problem among people with this particular adapter. And, of course, your final assessment. I wonder how many of us have faulty routers? How would I know if my router was faulty? And, if I also have a faulty router, what do I do? I've been connected via Comcast for about 6 years now - do I request a new router? Now that you narrowed your issues to the router, have you been able to ultimately solve your problem? That's awesome! So glad to hear! This has been confirmed by many people. You would think that the PC makers would investigate the issue and find out why their drivers have so many problems.

I've been experiencing the same issue. In my case, my laptop is a MSI Modern A5M (Ryzen 5) running Windows 11 and the WiFi6 adapter is the MT7921K (RZ608). It's been two months with this laptop and the error is not common (happened like 5 times), but it happens specially if I leave it turned on without use for some hours. When that happens, I need to turn off the PC (sometimes even if I just restart it, the whole wifi funtion dissapears from windows).

I followed the solution @Jeremyb777 posted and it's working fine. I've uninstalled the drivers from Device Manager and reinstalled from the unzipped file @mohnohobot said (MediaTek-FORCED-10x64-79xx_3.03.01.0508-drp). I'll be posting updates but this seems to be the solution. Thank all of you for the help.

The truth is that I have crossed my fingers and it has not worked for me, when I open a game like battlefront 2 in a matter of seconds the internet is cut off and stops responding correctly, could you please upload the driver folder that you downloaded please, I thank you very much, if this no longer works for me I will take the computer to warranty, although I know that this is the work of a windows update.
