Phone Link won't generate a QR code or PIN

I have Windows 11, and I'm trying to set up Phone Link between my PC and my Android. However, during setup I'm asked from the Phone Link app to generate a QR Code to scan on my phone or a PIN to enter manually, but neither ever appears.

Eventually, it gives me a "no network detected" error with "try again" as my only option, but my network is just fine - it has no problem loading the "Troubleshooting the Phone Link app" website, Windows reports no network problems, and all other apps using the network have no problems.

I have repaired and reset the Phone Link app from Windows 11 settings, but nothing changes.

Worked a treat! Just paused protection, restarted the phone link process and worked first go. Cheers!

I only have one network. And it works just fine on other computers. Sometimes, the phone will connect after about a half an hour. And I have not done anything at all to try to get it to connect.

I finally deleted my Microsoft account, and created a new one. Haven't had any problems since then.
