Memory integrity forced off "incompatible driver" STTub30.sys (STmicroelectronics)

Recently my memory integrity has been forced off due to an "incompatible driver" preventing the service from running. The incompatible driver in question is from STmicroelectronics driver "STTub30.sys" In my attempt to fix this, I uninstalled this driver and tried windows update to see if my PC would automatically reinstall this driver but no luck. Now when I turn Memory integrity on and restart my PC (as it prompts me to do so) my computer is stuck on the loading up screen, and I must force shutdown my pc and turn it on again in order to use it. I tried finding the specific driver online from the STmicroelectronics website to manually reinstall it but no luck

    I did not uninstall this driver, but I am currently living with the STTub30.sys driver issue mentioned previously. Have you found any more understanding yet on how to solve the "incompatible driver" issue? I'm stumped at this point.

    The only reasonable way to retain the flagged bad driver and continue to live with it would be to install a compatible version in my opinion. Unfortunately, the OEM STMicro doesn't seem willing to take ownership and responsibility for the problem. I couldn't find how this bad actor made on my PC to begin with so hunting down a third party that might of been involved went no where. In my case the driver wasn't used by the system but it's existence blocked the ability to enable the new Windows security feature. Uninstalling fixed the problem completely.

    STTub30.sys driver is causing the issue. Not sure what it is for and if it is safe to remove it but if Microsoft is enabling safety features to help protect our computers from malicious viruses and so forth by enabling these new features, why would they not address this issue with a fix?

    I myself have tried everything short of disabling the driver and I can not find an updated driver for STTub30.sys anywhere. The one occurrence I read that did have a solution with an updated driver, the company STMicroelectronics took down their post with the update. For what reason, I do not know.

    All of us are looking for a solution to this issue so that we can enable the security features that this outdated driver is causing to not be enabled. Can someone please point us in the right direction?

    Thank you for the walkthrough, I deleted the driver file via CMD scanned again and it worked.

    In future updates Microsoft will concentrate to protect computers from viruses and other online impact through providing various security tools which will be integrated in to Windows os and in respective motherboards.

    So driver development team must and should release new drivers which is suitable for windows.

    According to me , you must update new driver.

    All device drivers must be signed with code signing certificate and should comply with WHQL rules.
