The only real way to assure yourself there is no malware is to reinstall Windows cleanly, if you can. If you choose to do this, use the Media Creation Tool to create a bootable installer for Windows, save your data to an external backup and use the tool to remove the existing partitions and recreate them, after which you can finish installing Windows cleanly.
A hacker send me a screenshot of me using my computer and told me that they have all my data, also they’re saying that they are gonna make a **** of me
Hey. I have bad news for you!
/1.P1GhQ,
03.08.2022-On this day, I hacked your device's operating system and got full access to your account . I have been watching you closely for a long time.

I installed a virus on your system that allows me to control all your devices.
The virus software gives me access to all the controllers of your devices (microphone, video camera, keyboard, display). I have uploaded all your information, data, photos, browsing history to my servers. I have access to all your messengers, social networks, email, sync, chat history and contact list.

I learned a lot about you!

I thought what can I do with this data...
I recently came up with an interesting idea: to create a video clip in which you **** in one part of the screen and watch a **** in the other, such videos are now at the peak of popularity!
What happened amazed me!
i?8-
With one click, I can send this video to all your friends via email, social networks and instant messengers. I can also publish access to all your emails and instant messengers that you use.
In addition, I found a lot of interesting things that I was able to publish on the Internet and send to friends.

If you don't want me to do it, send me 1900 $ (US dollar) in my bitcoin wallet. My BTC wallet address:
bc1qe9h0drc5aq3xl7zyaq6l0al6nwf92uweruw24j
If you do not know how to replenish such a wallet, use the Google search engine. There is nothing difficult in this. As soon as funds arrive, I will see this and immediately remove all this garbage. After that we will forget each other. I also promise to deactivate and remove all malware from your devices. Trust me, I keep my word. It's a fair deal and the price is pretty low considering I've been checking your profile and traffic for a while.

I give exactly two days (48 hours) from the moment of opening this letter for payment.
After this period, if I do not receive the specified amount from you, I will send everyone access to your accounts and visited sites, personal data, and edited videos without warning.
Remember: I do not make mistakes, I do not advise you to joke with me, I have many opportunities.
There's no point complaining about me because they can't find me. Formatting the drive or destroying the device won't help because I already have your data.
It makes no sense to write back to me - I do not write from personal mail and do not look at the answers.

Good luck and don't get angry!
Everyone has their own job, you just got unlucky today.

P.S. In the future, I recommend that you follow the safety rules on the Internet and do not visit dubious sites.

2022-10-27T15:20:30+00:00 Hi guys,
I want to share my experience as a lesson for security on Internet.
I had download an ebook in file .rar. After unrar the file, I saw an unsual file, not .pdf or any kind of ebook. But my idiot action is click on it and open it. Nothing happen after 3 days.
First, the hacker logged in to my 5 Gmail accounts, and Google announced someone tried to access my account. At this moment, I know my computer was hacked, so I quickly changed all my Gmail password and turn on 2-step verification.
The day after, when I using Facebook on the browser, I was out of my account. So I login and everything quite well. But the next morning, I received the FB noti via emails announced that I was remove from my all Facebook page administrator. OMG, I have some page with more than 5,000 likes/followers and now it's gone. With a week, I saw my 2 FB pages changing the name and delete all my old post. I guess that the hacker sold my pages into the market, and someone bought it.

I have received the scam email like all you guys a few hours ago, with the title is my computer brand name (after I reinstalled Window and change new account name). Don't know why? At first I'm so scared, but after read all cases and your comments, I feel better.
Maybe it's a lesson for us to not download any strange file and crack software.

Here what I have done in my case:
- Change all password and turn on 2-step verification.
- Reinstall Window.
- Reset browser, turn on security level, turn off sync, clear old passwords in Googe Password Manager. From now, I swear that I never save any passwork like that again. Too risky!
- Install Malwarebytes and scan (I found some malware in folder Sync of Chrome).
Hope it will help you get over this problem!

2022-10-02T10:37:53+00:00 I Just received same email with I am 100% sure that the screenshot of the hacker sent is mine.
What the hacker said that they are in control of your device is true however some of what they say may not be true.
I own an account in Axie Infinity and I have Ronin Wallet installed in my Brave browser.
Hour later I received a notification from my Ronin Wallet Mobile that I have success in my transaction which I didn't make.
Then I check all my digital asset, they are almost gone. I have saved 5 Axies, while 30 axies have been sent to the possibly hacker account.
I am doing now a clean install in my PC.
update:
I'm done doing clean install of OS and got new product key for my device.
the hacker don't have access to my device BUT gained access to my Google account.
It's like the hacker made a clone of my browser that's why it is not asking for 2FA.
I only got notification that I have signed out to the hacker's device.

2022-08-24T02:04:55+00:00 Are you 100% sure? Does it have all and exactly the same icons on it that you normally see when viewing your desktop? Change your Windows password, check for any accounts you don't recognize in Settings and scan your computer with an offline full Defender scan and a scan with the free Malwarebytes from malwarebytes.org. Does either find anything?
