Audio stopped working after upgrading win11 to 22H2

Hi,

My audio is not working after upgrading to 22H2. My computer is an ASUS less than one year old. I have tried to reinstall the Realtek driver without solving the problem.

Looking in the devicemanager the Realtek driver has this error after each time I have reinstalled the driver:

Device INTELAUDIO\FUNC_01&VEN_10EC&DEV_0294&SUBSYS_104313B2&REV_1000\5&205ca6cb&0&0001 had a problem starting.

Driver Name: oem88.inf

Class Guid: {4d36e96c-e325-11ce-bfc1-08002be10318}

Service: IntcAzAudAddService

Lower Filters: 

Upper Filters: 

Problem: 0x0

Problem Status: 0xC00000E5

Is there any ideas of what I can try to get this working again?

    i had same problem. Found Edge was muted. Doh!

    Working now.

    Sorry, Musa, if the question is dumb. 'Muted' ... meaning you were using an alternative to Edge?

    Same problem here with Creative Soundblaster X-Fi Surround 5.1 external card.

    The device driver has been "unassigned" after the windows update to latest 22H2.

    Manual update using the latest driver does not do anything.

    Automatic update using Windows says "This Operation Requires Interactive Window Station"

    I've also tried to change permissions for drivers, I've used various versions of the driver, nothing helped.

    Please do not recommend any kind of "automatic troubleshooting procedures" in W11.

    Wow sorry you having this issue I decided after reading the stories behind latest Microsoft 22H2 version I am not going to update yet and wait till they fix all these problems. If you can go back to the previous build, it is best to do it. Hope you can get this fix.
