File explorer keeps asking for a sign in but then tells me I can't log in with a personal log in and requires a business or education log in....
Going round in circles...

I have similar issue, only difference is when I click "Please sign in" and add credentials it prompts for authentication but my authentication app doesn't get any pop, i also tried other methods of authentication (like sending email instead of authentication app) it still doesn't send anything.
Please help, I do want to sign in since I have had shortcuts pinned when I was last able to sign in a few days ago.

THANK YOU! My File Explorer stopped showing my Quick Access favorites. This fixed it.
However, the option (at least in my Windows 11 Pro Version 10.0.22621 Build 22621) has changed to "Include account-based insights, recent, favorite, and recommended files". Disabling this restored my Quick Access favorites!
All their solutions didn’t work for me. I opened Settings, then went into Accounts, then scrolled down to access work or school…here I deleted the account that was causing the problem, then the Please sign in disappeared.
