Windows 11 || Remove work or school account

Hi All,

I am using windows 11 home. I want to remove the work or school account as I am not using that account anymore. But I am not getting an option to remove the account from my system. I am not using that account in any of the apps and all the apps related to that account are deleted.

I searched online for the same. Usually, the option is to right-click on the account and delete it. But I am not getting that delete option.

Please let me know how to proceed.

In the attached screenshot, the account highlighted in maroon is the one which I want to remove.

    Interesting that depending on the route you take to get to the Work or School account decides if "disconnect" is available. I tried 3 times and did not see it.

    For WINDOWS 11, you have to CLICK the account in order to see the disconnect button. Then you can disconnect. There is no arrow, right click, or anything else on the page to suggest that you just click on it but that is it.

    Hope this helps the new Windows 11 crop of questions.

    The disconnect button for WINDOWS 11 shows up after you click on the account. All the screenshots have been for Windows 10.

    Hi,

    I am using Windows 11 Education and when ever I try to factory reset my HP Probook to make it personal, It would always ask my my work or school account. What ever I try, It would always ask for permission by my school admin and there are no '"Disconnect" button. Someone please help me
