How to get the update

Starting today, the first major update to Windows 11 is now available for users who want to update. Our launch approach to Windows 11 leverages our well-established update systems and processes. The measured and phased rollout will offer the update via Windows Update when data shows that your device is ready, as our objective is to provide a quality update experience. We will initially ramp up the offering availability in the first weeks as we monitor quality signals. If we detect that your device may have an issue, such as an application incompatibility, we may put a safeguard hold in place and not offer the update until that issue is resolved. Windows 11 devices

Users with eligible devices running Windows 11, version 21H2 who are interested in experiencing the latest feature update and are ready to install this release on their device can choose to do so by opening Windows Update settings (Settings > Windows Update) and selectingCheck for updates*^2^. You mean error code 0x800F0806 for Update KB5017321?

Download it from the Update catalog and install it:

https://catalog.s.download.windowsupdate.com/c/msdownload/update/software/secu/2022/09/windows11.0-kb5017321-x64_89e24eb73f89f4f2879ee0128c3aabf362f9eb42.msu

After install Windows Update should offer the Update again but now you can install it quickly.

Already done that yesterday, that was the workaround I used to get over the W.U. loop bug 0x800f0806.

The other way was by using a third-party ISO 22621.521 which got over the same issue too. 🤣🤣🤣

A user on elevenforum suggested this command below to clear the same issue. I have not tried that yet to see if it does the trick. 😎

Dism.exe /Online /Cleanup-Image /StartComponentCleanup /ResetBase

Same here, even logging in to outlook is sendin Malwarebytes insane

Not sure what the criteria is. 🤷‍♂️

As with every major update, it is rolled out in so-called waves.

If someone cannot or does not want to wait, there is always the possibility to do it with the known means.

Too bad that the update with ISO causes the problems with W.U. loop after the upgrade to 22621.382 is done. 😝

Malwarebytes started going crazy this morning on the 22H2 system, blocking sites. It may be related to Steam but not sure. As far as I know, the sites had not been blocked prior.

Some of the sites do mention google..
