My PC keeps giving me a message that says, "This app can't run on your PC. To find a version for this PC check with software developer." I disregarded it the first time and just closed it but it keeps coming back. I've looked for solutions everywhere and none of them work. I feel like I've been having problems all the time ever since I upgraded to windows 11. I don't know what to try anymore to get rid of this.

I am trying to update my dads Dell 660 from Windows 8 to Windows 10, since that is the last OS that Dell 660 works with, but I am getting the "This app can't run on your PC. To find a version for this PC check with the software developer," but I am unable to get assistance based on the age of the computer. I did go into properties and try changing the compatibility program, but still having no luck. Guidance would be greatly appreciated.

I had this same situation, it happened when I opened chrome and started some search by typing in the address bar... I reinstalled chrome and the problem remained. I then removed the chrome extension "McAfee web advisor" (one of the few extensions I had installed) and the issue disappeared. I hope this helps.
