Unfortunately, no change for me after applying the UEFI update and all the latest driver updates from Lenovo.

2023-02-15T00:26:49+00:00 solved for me.
just have to be patient. let it finish installing.
idk about you guys, but im using a basic HDD. it makes the system a potato, especially in 2022/23. perhaps that is why it feels like it is hanging up.

2023-03-09T01:13:36+00:00 Hi @jessek84
Yours is a performance related issue.
I suspect everyone else is using an NVMe SSD. The BSoD everyone is getting is happening is because Secure Boot and VT-d enabled results in Kernel DMA Protection being enabled, and a driver in the device path chain to the NVMe SSD isn't loading or loading correctly because it either doesn't support DMA Remapping Policy or crashes because it says it does when it doesn't.
The additional problem is that this requires a live debug session with the affected device as a memory dump cannot happen because the storage driver isn't loading :-(

2023-03-09T21:52:37+00:00 I have exactly the same problem with my Lenovo ThinkPad P73. About once a month or so, the update downloads and every time it freezes after a reboot. It reboots and tries to redo the install and the same thing happens. After two attempts it backs out the update and I'm back where I started. This has happened maybe five times by now. All Microsoft and Lenovo updates have been installed.
