Can't Find--How do I delete: usb2ser.sys & wdcsam64_prewin8.sys

I got an error message saying that I can't turn on Memory Integrity due to the following drivers:

usb2ser.sys & wdcsam64_prewin8.sys

I can't find these files anywhere in this laptop.

Please Help.

    I agree. Took me 6 hours yesterday, but I found this youtube below that saved the day.

    [Sorry, I've added additional developments in chronological order below... I'm not sure if that is etiquette?... but some of the questions have become moot and the riddle is still there... scroll down.]

    I found three instances of usb2ser.sys -- none where you expected them. Do I rename all three of them?

    They are in:

    "C:\ProgramData\LMSA\drivers\MTK\x64\usb2ser.sys"

    "C:\ProgramData\LMSA\drivers\MTK\x86\usb2ser.sys"

    "C:\Windows\System32\DriverStore\FileRepository\cdc-acm.inf_amd64_53a164dc20d3fb67\x64\usb2ser.sys"

    Can someone please advise? Thanks!

    [p.s. added] How do I get 'permission'? Try again didn't do it...

    So, maybe via a Windows Update?? the files have been changed to OLD -- at least two of the three. Maybe the File Access Denied error was a false negative - but I only tried to rename one file and two were renamed???. At any rate, search shows two are renamed. BUT STILL CANNOT FIX CORE ISOLATION due to usb2ser.sys :( Cannot rename the version in FileRepository. Rebooted once - didn't change anything.

    Goal is to fix the error "unable to switch on Core Isolation".

    Glad for any advice!

    I have exactly the same problem. I can't delete or rename the file wdcsam64_prewin8.sys

    My wdcsam64_prewin8.sys is in System32\filerepository but it won't let me change the name unless I have administrator permissions.

    That is very strange, those drivers are almost always installed into C:\Windows\System32\drivers
