Windows 11: WiFi gone after sleep

My laptop is installed with Windows 11 Home Single Language and uses the network adapter of Realtek 8822CE Wireless LAN 802.11ac PCI-E NIC.

Every time when I put my laptop in sleep mode, the WiFi disconnected automatically, and the network adapter driver also disappeared from the list of device manager. After I restart my laptop, everything goes back to normal, but I would like to resolve this issue permanently.

I have updated the driver, but the issue still persists. Below are the images that illustrate the issue.

  1. When this issue happens, the WIFI icon also disappeared

  1. I run troubleshooting, it states that there is no proper network adapter driver installed

  1. The WIFI's network adapters driver disappear from the list of device manager when this issue happens.

  1. After I restart my computer, the WIFI connection back to normal, with the WIFI icon appearing and the driver appearing in the device manager.

HOWEVER, this issue comes back every time after, I put my laptop into sleep mode.

    I had this exact same issue with my ROG Strix G713QM after installing Windows 11. I tried both installing the drivers linked above, doing the registry trick and turning unticking the power settings in bluetooth like someone suggested, and I don't know which one but something worked because it's the day after and the problem seems to be gone!

    Just wanted to write in here to add to the list of people who have had this problem so that maybe it can get noticed more. This is definitely some sort of conflicting compatibility issue between Windows 11 changes that is commonly found in ASUS devices. But Asus is a great brand, I wouldn't stay away from them just because of this.

    It is in a deferent place now. With the latest drivers this is where you can find the "power save".

    Also with the latest drivers is is not so annnnoying anymore.

    I have had the same WiFi connectivity issue and have tried everything to no avail. Then as my McAfee subscription was expiring, I deleted McAfee from my computer and moved onto another software. Mysteriously, my problem was gone and my computer can now sleep and awaken without having to restart my computer to reestablish WiFi connectivity. I hope this helps those with McAfee.

    I had the same frustrating problem: Lenovo T490/Intel Wireless AC 9560. Tried all the suggestions in this post without any success.

    It turns out it was a simple authentication mode capability. I kept using WPA3 Personal, which works manually, but not for automatic connect. I reverted to using WPA2 Personal and WiFi is back to automatic connect even after Sleep, Hibernate, Restart.

    ps. the Intel adapter is supposed to work with WPA3, but apparently not. And explain after powering down the wifi adapter struggles to reconnect without manual intervention.

    It's showing "Currently, this hardware device is not connected to the computer. (Code 45)

    To fix this problem reconnect this hardware device to the computer.
