Hi kkaazz,
I must clarify my position regarding Windows 10 as it seems you misunderstood what I was implying.
I doubt anyone would consider Windows 10 hasn't had its problems but at least it has been running long enough for Microsoft to sort many of them out. The current issue we have been discussing is that relating to a few coded emails coming through on Yahoo Mail as received via Windows Mail. As others have experienced, if you go directly to Yahoo Mail via the web these emails are as one would expect, yet when they are opened through the Yahoo account setup in Windows Mail you get a coded version. In my experience it has only occurred when mail is sent by a specific company with whom I have had dealings but nevertheless it must have something to do with a bug in Windows Mail. I also have my Hotmail, Gmail and TalkTalk accounts setup in Windows Mail but thus far I have not experienced coded mail coming through on those.
My comments regarding not switching to Windows 11 has no direct bearing on the issue other than the fact that I have placed my trust in Windows 10 and prefer to keep it that way. My feeling is that Microsoft must surely be aware of the complaints relating to the Yahoo coded email issue and should have sorted it out regardless of whether it occurs in Windows 10 or 11.
