Canon Printer not responding after windows 11 update. Other Windows 10 PC has no problem printing to same printer

Sometime after updating to Win 11 my Canon printer does not respond to my print request. I tried printing from another Windows 10 PC and the printer is still responding to it. So there is no issue with the printer as the message would indicate. What needs to be done to get my printer to print from my windows 11 updated HP PC.

    Forgive me, but I want to share the solution of my problem. It consisted in the fact that the Canon LBP6020B printer worked perfectly under the control of Windows 10 Home and absolutely refused to work under Windows 10 Pro. All tips did not help.

    Please note - the printer was installed from the same files for Windows 10.

    How did I solve the problem? Stupid. Head-on.

    I exported the printer driver from Windows 10 Home and then imported it into Windows 10 Pro.

    The printer began to work!

    Further. I updated Windows 10 Pro (with a driver from Windows 10 Home) to Windows 11 Pro and the printer also works!

    I remember having a similar problem with my Windows 8 / 8.1 machine. It seemed that on occasion Windows updates caused my printer to stop working. I ended up disabling the Windows updates and all was OK with the printer - not a good solution, as it eventually creates other issues!

    I hope this isn't going to be the situation with Windows 11.

    I tried downloading the print drivers again to my new machine, but that didn't work. The solution was to completely remove the printer & all its files / drivers & then reload everything from the Canon website - & now the printer is working again!

    It looks like I was happy early. The printer does not print if the printer's usb cable was disconnected when starting the computer. If I then connect it, the printer is detected, the tasks are put in the print queue, but the printer does not print them. I have to reboot a computer with a connected cable. Then the printing begins.

    I don't think this is the problem of the printer's driver. I think this is a rough Windows 11 bug ...

    I appreciate your reply and am glad to hear that it worked out for you. Having drivers installed, reinstalled, you name it, still has not helped, but I may try a few things shared from others.
