I have the Canon MG6820 and I've downloaded the most recent driver. The printer acts as though it is printing. It takes in the paper, the print head moves back and forth, but when the paper comes out nothing is printed on it.

Sometime after updating to Win 11 my Canon printer does not respond to my print request. I tried printing from another Windows 10 PC and the printer is still responding to it. So there is no issue with the printer as the message would indicate. What needs to be done to get my printer to print from my windows 11 updated HP PC.

2023-12-20T05:16:32+00:00 I am having the same issues as everyone else it seems, the only difference is it shows my printer ts9521c model canon installed correctly on my computer. However I still can't print a darn thing. I've had a new printer for months now and after six hours with various support canon microsoft dell I'm still unable to print. Microsoft says it has to be on the network, canon says there shouldn't be a problem. All I know is that I need to use the printer and still I'm without any resolve.

I had this issue with a Canon MG5420 printer. It was already a shared network printer at home used by a couple of Windows 10 machines. My new computer with Windows 11 could not work with the printer. It would give me some sort of "driver failed" type error. I tried everything i could find online, including editing my registry settings. None of that helped.
Solution that worked for me:
I went back to the Canon website and downloaded the Windows 10 driver https://www.usa.canon.com/support/p/pixma-mg5420#idReference%3Dsoftware-drivers (MG5400 series MP Drivers Ver. 1.01 (Windows 10/10 x64/8.1/8.1 x64/8/8 x64/7/7 x64/Vista/Vista64/XP)). The printer immediately worked!
