Sometime after updating to Win 11 my Canon printer does not respond to my print request. I tried printing from another Windows 10 PC and the printer is still responding to it. So there is no issue with the printer as the message would indicate. What needs to be done to get my printer to print from my windows 11 updated HP PC.

I have Canon Printer D570. It used to work properly until I updated to Windows 11. I tried reinstall the drivers from Canon. It only works with USB connection and I have to print with USB connection. Wifi printing no longer works (printer is connected to wifi but windows can never find it). I also tried to uninstall all canon drivers but it kept saying 'in use' and wont uninstall. Cost me two days and still wont work with wifi.
This is probably a very good solution however it will only work if you have a USB connection from your device to your computer. The software cannot Diagnose and Repair if you only have access via wireless connection.
Ian Graham saved the day! After two days trying, I was finally able to get my 10-year-old Canon iX6520 to respond to my new Windows 11 computer by following Ian's clearly-written instructions. Thank you!
For anyone who finds this post. I have a similar issue where my printer is old (MP272) and there is no driver for Windows 11. However if you go to the Canon website where the drivers are, there is a tab "Software". One of the software is called "My Printer". Download and run it. Click "Diagnose and Repair Printer". This fixed the issue for me.
