Well one common denominator seems to be intel chipsets. I don't believe I've seen any complaints from AMD users.

After updating the bios, im unable to activate windows 11, which was already activated. You're telling me I can't update the bios without windows freaking out. I paid for this product and now the only thing the troubleshooter is telling me to do is to just buy another product key. How the hell do I go about fixing this since windows services is just an utter joke? I'm constantly having to deal with fixing **** issues with windows 11. This product is a big joke. The "get help" app does nothing but direct me to exactly what their windows activation page is on the website.
Contacting support did nothing. They told me it's not their issue. Quality service M$

There are some BIOS updates that change codes that Microsoft uses to determine the hardware and associate it to a license. It's very rare, but it happens. Possibly, the MAC address or some other hidden info changes in those cases. -

2024-03-18T07:47:29+00:00 Similar here purchased Win10 Home license then upgrade to win 11 then this license got busted, decided to buy a full new Win 11Pro nothing to do with UPGRADE and this license got fckd too after second BIOS update however after hours spent on call and massive email exchange with MS Support team I was able to save this one.
