Windows activation after bios update

After updating the bios, im unable to activate windows 11, which was already activated. You're telling me I can't update the bios without windows freaking out. I paid for this product and now the only thing the troubleshooter is telling me to do is to just buy another product key. How the hell do I go about fixing this since windows services is just an utter joke? I'm constantly having to deal with fixing **** issues with windows 11. This product is a big joke. The "get help" app does nothing but direct me to exactly what their windows activation page is on the website.

Contacting support did nothing. They told me it's not their issue. Quality service M$

    The fix has been listed a few pages back. It just works, for now.

    I've just got the same issue with MSI motherboard after updating the BIOS,

    the solution was :

    1 - Login to Microsoft account

    2 - All devices

    3 - Remove all old devices

    4 - Start menu -> Settings -> Activation -> Troubleshoot -> Changed device

    5 - Select the current Device using the name of the device ( if you have different devices with the same name change the name to differentiate it )

    6 - Windows is Activated.

    I'm glad this worked for you! I should note for others' sake - I did these steps as part of my own troubleshooting and it did not help. In fact, it made it worse - I no longer had my old PC available under "changed device" menu, and couldn't even attempt the activation repair (before, I was able to initiate the repair but it kept failing).

    Indeed you should try this first but it didn’t work for many of us. The ongoing solution posted by several of us will work if cleaning up the registered computers doesn’t 👍🏼

    Interesting! I noticed one of the posts alluded to cleaning up your devices at Microsoft.com. I think I had 2 for the same device. But your work around is very interesting!!
