Windows activation after bios update

After updating the bios, im unable to activate windows 11, which was already activated. You're telling me I can't update the bios without windows freaking out. I paid for this product and now the only thing the troubleshooter is telling me to do is to just buy another product key. How the hell do I go about fixing this since windows services is just an utter joke? I'm constantly having to deal with fixing **** issues with windows 11. This product is a big joke. The "get help" app does nothing but direct me to exactly what their windows activation page is on the website.

Contacting support did nothing. They told me it's not their issue. Quality service M$

First of all: I'm NOT 100% sure for this method, so try it at your own risk.

That being said, I had a similar problem, old pc and the new one both were displayed as registered machines, problem was both were referring

to the same PC, before and after the BIOS update. The way I solved was to delete both PCs from my account and try to log again, after a restart

and the usual change PIN nonsense (was before to solve the issue using the script)

Could solve your problem too, but as I said, could be a risk, given how badly Microsoft is managing digital licenses. Hope you solve it, one way or another.

I agree. Microsoft makes it easy for themselves when they let laypeople act as self-recognized experts in the forum. In my case with an MSI motherboard, I needed a new license after a firmware update. Although I was able to prove
to Microsoft that my license was legitimate. Now the problem is that my PC with the old license is in my Microsoft
user account and I cannot add the newly purchased Windows 11 Pro license there.
I always get the error message Oops, we have a problem.

Curious if you did the TPM thing?

Anyway, thanks to all the perfect posts except from self-proclaimed experts that said at the beginning of all of this, " isolated incident, MSI only, not a MS issue, go buy another license, and on and on. Those folks need to be removed from MS help as they are making the issue much worse than it already is!
