Keep us informed.
I will and let’s you know
In theory it sounds good the way you say it. It's like an instantaneous automatic backup of everything. But I have no experience in it. You'll have to blaze the trail or Google around to see whether other pioneers did well or had to sup on each other like the Donners. Good luck.
Thank you for all that.
I was wondering perhaps you know I have an external HD docking station made by orico I actually have two of them an each can accommodate 5 HD.
I can buy another 2 TB SSD hard drive they are cheap enough and if a can mirror them then the only thing happens, I just swap them and just for added security I can delay the mirroring by a day, so the corrupted information dos does not corrupt the backup.
First what you think about this idea.
Second do you know any software that will do this mirroring with the schedule build in using external docking station.
This way at list I know how to swap a hard drive and I believe I would not be down for weeks, that is the most important for my business.
I don't if have mention it to you I have my personal serve I believe it's running windows 2012 server package and I have 5 disks that mirroring each other constantly, the beauty of this is if I know that a hard drive is going bead, I just buy a new one and replaced on the fly without shutting the server down.
Anyway, let me know what you think.
and thank you as usual
