Can't access bios or advanced startup on windows 11

I don't know if its a bug or this is how windows 11 is, I just can't access my bios nor the advanced startup, if I boot the computer and spam the BIOS MODE (delete key) it just goes into a black screen and nothing happens it just stays black as long as I keep it running same thing happens with trying to go into advanced startup after it restarts same thing happens black screen and nothing else no cursor nothing even the monitor goes into power saving mode.

I checked everything from cables to bios updates and nothing

plus it was completely working on windows 10 I can go to advanced startup no problem BIOS no problem

after updating to windows 11 it just doesn't work at all.

also a note that when I boot the computer or press the power button it stays black for 3-5 seconds and then instantly loads windows I don't see the motherboard logo or the modes I can go to before it starts loading windows.

    I have Lenovo P340 Tiny (Intel processor + Nvidia card). Manufacturer logo stopped appearing after the Windows 11 upgrade. When attempting to enter BIOS via any standard means (like Shift-Restart) the screen goes blank for up to a minute, and only reactivates after I hit <Enter> a couple of times and then the Windows login screen appears. Switching monitor on/off for a time did not help, nor changing cables from DP to HDMI. The monitor seems to think there is no signal coming from the system. Refresh rate was 60Hz all the time.

    I had 23" old model monitor in which I was getting the same issue.. i tried a another monitor of 24"newer model... And now the bios shows up and when I switched back to 23" i get the same issue again.

    So I don't know weather it's the resolution problem between the 2 monitors....or older Led vs newer Led issue or completely other issue ..

    But on 24" newer LED it works fine....I still don't have the solution for the original issue (have tried everything resetting bios and updating everything to latest drivers)... So hope Microsoft will find the actual problem and gets us the fix

    Fyi: Everything is working fine in windows 10... So I presume it has something to with the windows 11

    I tried that - without success. Replaced the older HP E223 monitor (which can only work at 60Hz but has decent resolution 1920x1080 and color depth) was replaced for newer curved Samsung C24F390 (which can work at 50Hz, 59Hz and 60Hz, with same resolution and colour depth). None of that worked. The older one uses both DP and HDMI, the newer only HDMI, but there is no effect.

    Hello all, this fix worked for me I hope it does for you guys. I just disconnected Display port and plugged in hdmi and it went right into boot..smashing that delete button of course. Good luck
