I don't know if its a bug or this is how windows 11 is, I just can't access my bios nor the advanced startup, if I boot the computer and spam the BIOS MODE (delete key) it just goes into a black screen and nothing happens it just stays black as long as I keep it running same thing happens with trying to go into advanced startup after it restarts same thing happens black screen and nothing else no cursor nothing even the monitor goes into power saving mode.
I checked everything from cables to bios updates and nothing
plus it was completely working on windows 10 I can go to advanced startup no problem BIOS no problem
after updating to windows 11 it just doesn't work at all.
also a note that when I boot the computer or press the power button it stays black for 3-5 seconds and then instantly loads windows I don't see the motherboard logo or the modes I can go to before it starts loading windows.

Thanks for that Guy - I look forward to hearing back if and when a solution is found. I have even tried a complete clean install of Windows 11 on my PC and still I cannot access the BIOS no matter which method I use. Same blank screen every time. It truly is bizarre. Hoping for a solution soon. Cheers.
i have the same problem, can mash del key to get to bios or power off and on three times to get to windows recovery but can not do it via advanced startup> restart now; option in windows 11 settings. have even tried creating a new recovery drive thru "reagentc" command in cmd prompt and fresh install of windows 11 but still no success. will repost here if i find a solution
Sorry mate no solution as yet. I can’t believe Microsoft hasn’t got a solution to this though. I’m on the brink of resetting my PC and installing Windows 10 just to access the BIOS then doing a fresh install of Windows 11, but such a schlep. Please Microsoft help with this?
I finally got this to work, so I hope everyone from this thread can see this and it helps you.
What eventually ended up working was turning my monitor and system refresh rate to 60hz. I did not just change it in the nvidia controller but the settings in the monitor itself as well.
My goal was just to get into safe mode.
When I had it at 240hz I would do the hold shift and restart to get to advanced boot options, but after I hit restart it would restart into a black screen and eventually shut down.
This was after doing all windows, Intel, and bios updates.
I suppose this safe mode cannot operate at high refresh rates, so it just fails outright.
Same issue... Any new information how to get into bios instead of seeing black screen?
