If you're using an AMD GPU with a FreeSync compatible monitor and you're still having this issue, try disabling FreeSync via your monitor, this fixed the issue for me. May also be the same case for G-Sync with Nvidia GPUs, can't confirm.
Can't access bios or advanced startup on windows 11

I don't know if its a bug or this is how windows 11 is, I just can't access my bios nor the advanced startup, if I boot the computer and spam the BIOS MODE (delete key) it just goes into a black screen and nothing happens it just stays black as long as I keep it running same thing happens with trying to go into advanced startup after it restarts same thing happens black screen and nothing else no cursor nothing even the monitor goes into power saving mode.
I checked everything from cables to bios updates and nothing
plus it was completely working on windows 10 I can go to advanced startup no problem BIOS no problem
after updating to windows 11 it just doesn't work at all.
also a note that when I boot the computer or press the power button it stays black for 3-5 seconds and then instantly loads windows I don't see the motherboard logo or the modes I can go to before it starts loading windows.

I have a solution:
If you see a black screen while u enter bios this is becouse your motherboart has output ports and they are defaut for bios. I have changed refresh rate to 60Hz(just in case) on every monitor and then connected them to motherboard insted of graphic card. After taht i saw this fricking bios just like I see Jesus in your hearts!

2023-01-20T22:20:26+00:00 sadly ASUS laptop motherboard doesn't have a q flash button, it doesn't even have a battery you can remove it to do a CMOS flash
in the end, I sent it to ASUS for repair, they gave me a new laptop!? so with a clean windows 10 on it before I did anything else I install I ran the windows 11 update and now seems to be ok although I won't be trying to update my BIOS again any time soon

I had the same issue. I update the bios firmware using Q flash plus then it is solved. You can try this.

2022-12-28T04:29:05+00:00 sadly I have a laptop so turning the monitor on at a certain time is not an option. I have tried using an external monitor using HDMI cable but that goes through my graphics card. I can't really change my graphics card either for the same aforementioned reason and changing to 60Hz doesn't help, I really wish Microsoft would fix this already
