MediaTek Wi-Fi 6E MT7922 (RZ616) driver keeps crashing and I get an error message this device cannot start. (code 10). This has been happening pretty often and I have even tried a full factory reset. The issue still persists. I have reinstalled the driver multiple times and still face the issue. The temporary fix is to do a power cycle.

Kindly provide a permanent solution if anyone has one. I am using an Asus ROG Stix G17 (2022) and Windows 11.

    And it works! David, you're a genius!

    As I'm typing this, immediately after rebooting after installing those drivers, the network card is showing the same signs of wonkiness as before, however - it disconnected, and I had to reconnect again. So I think I'll be on guard still.

    Hi. Even I have bought the same laptop 2 weeks ago. And I have started to face this issue from a week. I tried every possible way to fix it but it didn't work.. finally I started to use it with USB tethering. Then after few hours it started to work again.. then after few days the same issue popped and after a while it started to work again.. so I finally took it to asus store where they said they will roll back my pc to windows 10

    This actually works.

    Unfortunately MT7922 WIFI Card is the worst performing and this performance suffers when you move further away from the wireless router. I have another laptop from HP which is 5 years old and performance of the WIFI card is much better where the speeds reported in speed test is double from what i get from the ASUS laptop which has MT7922 WIFI card.

    Any links to the latest driver which possibly can help to remove these issues. Not sure why is ASUS using Mediatek WIFI6 Adapters for ROG series which is worst performing.

    did you ever fix this issue? the same is happening to me and with the 2022 ASUS Zephyrus g15. it even somtimes gives me a bluescreen saying driver power state failure
