MediaTek Wi-Fi 6E MT7922 (RZ616) driver keeps crashing and I get an error message this device cannot start. (code 10). This has been happening pretty often and I have even tried a full factory reset. The issue still persists. I have reinstalled the driver multiple times and still face the issue. The temporary fix is to do a power cycle.

Kindly provide a permanent solution if anyone has one. I am using an Asus ROG Stix G17 (2022) and Windows 11.

    All - I have done more investigations to see which drivers holds and the version I have found is 22.30.2.542. Driver date : 19-08-2022 and Driver provider : MediaTek, Inc.

    You can download the driver from https://rog.asus.com/forum/showthread.php?124328-DRIVERS-AMD-MediaTek-WiFi-Bluetooth and download Drivers : 1.928.0.207 WHQL [11/07/2022]

    For now, this has been working fine for now and only time will tell if this holds true.

    Likewise said in my previous post - Post latest Windows update has turned everything unusable. Infact post sleep, laptop wasn't even powering back. So I had to reset entire Windows again. Weird issues with Asus ROG lineup and windows together.

    Thanks David, This was easiest method. I wasted like 1 Hour for it. and 60 sec were enough.

    Yes, this is correct. Same thing happened with me as well .. though BT was working okay, however wireless wasn’t. I have now removed the drivers which has come with ASUS I.e 3.3.2.542 and now installed another driver from mediatek. Which is working for now .. not sure how long will it last. I will post the version number in my nextpost.

    After this weeks windows update I have completely lost wireless and BT. Windwos sees the most recent drivers installed. I luckily have access to a docking station and hard wire connection for right now.
