Hello!
A few games are crashed after a few minutes of gaming. The mouse got stuck for a few seconds after I'm able to alt+tab but the game process is not responding.
I found the following errors and warnings in the Windows event logs:

The description for Event ID 0 from source nvlddmkm cannot be found. Either the component that raises this event is not installed on your local computer or the installation is corrupted. You can install or repair the component on the local computer.
If the event originated on another computer, the display information had to be saved with the event.

Display driver nvlddmkm stopped responding and has successfully recovered.
Also, I see the first one all the time.

Unfortunately no, I haven't been able to fix this error. Tried every single method but none of them works. Might be a hardware problem of some sort. The best option now is to buy a different laptop and stay away from ASUS budget friendly gaming laptops.

I recently installed the latest Nvidia (Quadro P2000) driver for my Lenovo P2 laptop; it's from December 2023, i think. I am running W10 Enterprise. I had used v18.0.7.1 of DDU (Wagnardsoft Display Driver Uninstaller) in an attempt to fix my non-working NVIDIA Control Panel. For me, and, possibly others, using DDU may cause issues. (this is mentioned in the DDU program at startup.)

Being a confessed performance (wannabe) geek, i'm always toying and trying to stop services that i'm not sure are needed to run. Anyway, i set the two Nvidia SERVICES below to manual. This is when the nvlddmkm error (Event ID 0) began showing for me.
Both of these, by default, should be set to Automatic:
NVIDIA Display Container LS
NVWMI Provider Service
In short: Check Windows Services to see that both of of the above Nvidia services are set to Automatic and are running (if applicable for your system and particular installation).

Hi guys, I was struggling with the same problem after swapping my GPU card ( Radeon RX 6500XT to 3060Ti OC ). The error message was error id 0 nvldmmk. GPUID 100. My games were crashing randomly to the desktop without any message. Sometimes after 30 mins of playing, sometimes after 2 hours.
I’ve scroll down all the internet looking for solutions and none worked.
Until…
I heard that it may be associated with RAM. I wasn’t sure about replacing it at first. What I have done is disabling XMP profile in bios.
After that my games started to work fine without any crashes.

I have faced same error last night with cyberpunk 2077. Looked event monitor and some research. On Tomshardware and HP support websites came across sometihing.
Please remove only nvidia drivers with DDU.
Restart.
And install fresh drivers from only VENDOR site not NVIDIA. NVIDIA drivers are too generic.
If you have laptop download from laptop support website specific to model. Or a PC part MSI, EVGA, whatever u have install from their specific site.

This is the solution, I tried so many other solutions and nothing helped. This fixed my issues. I had this issue couple of years ago when I upgraded to win 11 and nothing worked, I finally ended up reverting to win 10 and reinstalling everything and the issue was gone. On win 10 I was using the latest nvidia drivers just fine, but when I upgraded to win 11 I started getting this issue, this time I didnt want to revert and decided to get to the root of the issue and this is the solution that worked. There is some incompatibility and the nvidia drivers, when I installed the one from Lenovo website the issues are gone.
