My Win 11 PC can only wake up by pressing the power button. How do make it able to wake up using the keyboard or mouse?

I have checked the option that says "Enable wake up using mouse or keyboard" somewhere, but it doesn't make any difference.

My PC is updated to the latest system update.

I believe I found the solution, it is a Windows power-saving policy where USB power is cut off when the computer goes into sleep mode, so the keyboard receiver will not work, and the computer will not wake up as a result. You just need to disable this feature.

Settings > Energy e Battery > Energy Recommendations > Stop usb devices when my screen is off to save battery ----> Turn Off.

    hi all,

    none of the fixes worked for me i had to contact support, as they needed to gain access to my pc and fix up the issues as the drivers needed to be changed and they needed to do a few other things . it ended up taking about 2 hours

    very simple to solve the problem just press fn+ctrl key together your pc screen wakeup the do it again the page of your password appear.

    I don't think you understand. If you are using Bluetooth of the PC, the keyboard is also asleep and NONE of keys of keyboard will function. So, I'm not sure if you're using the PC Bluetooth or something else, or your PC may not be sleeping at all. Or maybe you're using a laptop of some other Manufacturer rather than a Desktop PC. I am using a Desktop, and have tried a number of Keyboards and Windows 11 settings, all which have not worked.

    The solution that I came up with is to use a Keyboard with a USB Receiver plugged into a USB Port of the PC. So, this will wake up the PC merely my pressing enter. So, this is a solution, but understand that the keyboard is NOT using the PC's Bluetooth.
