Windows 11 does not detect my Nvidia graphics card

Hi,

I have been using Windows 11 for quite some time, Suddenly one day I see my secondary Nvidia graphics card is not detected. Its not displayed in Device manager (even if I select "show hidden devices").

Also, in device manager below System component is showing error code 10.

I tried reinstalling graphics card driver. Driver reinstallation does not detect my Nvidia graphics card.

I tried updating driver for above PCIe controller. But is already up to date.

I have not changed anything in BIOS. I tried defaulting the Bios values but dint work. ( My Nvidia card is detected in BIOS, only windows 11 has problem)

I tried backing out recent windows updates, dint work. I again updated all latest updates and optional driver updates suggested, dint work.

Since the card is detected in Bios, I am assuming its not an issue with hardware.

I have been doing some research, and in many places I see the PCIe controller issue associated with detection of graphics card.

Please help me resolve this issue.

    I reinstalled Windows 11, which took care of the issues and other issues as well. Didn't lose any files, worked fine.

    Hi Luka,

    1. Fire up Lenovo’s Vantage.
    2. On the right hand side, under “Legion Edge”, click on “GPU Working Mode”.
    3. That pops up a menu where you can change from Hybrid-iGPU to Hybrid.
    4. That’s what worked for me.  Hope it does for you too!

    Obrigado Roberto Cárdenas, obrigado. Eu tive o mesmo problema - a GPU Nvidia simplesmente desapareceu do laptop - mas um Lenovo Legion, não um Asus. Eu reiniciei, esperando que restabelecesse a GPU perdida - e muito cara ... mas sem sucesso. Parecia sério, até que felizmente encontrei sua solução aqui.

    Eu reconheci o Asus Armory Crate como provavelmente equivalente ao Vantage da Lenovo, então liguei isso e pronto, mudar o modo GPU lá dentro (do iGPU para o modo híbrido) trouxe meu RTX4090 de volta à vida ... ufa!

    Portanto, esse problema de desaparecimento da placa GPU Nvidia não se limita à Asus.

    Obrigado mais uma vez por se dar ao trabalho de postar sua solução. Homem superior!

    Como você fez isso? Estou como o mesmo problema, tenho um lenovo, mas não encontro uma opção parecida no app Vantage.... Pode me ajudar, por favor?
